Time To Breakup-
**Relationship Advice **
Hey, I found these whilst surfing, and they ring so true it’s not even funny.
Not like I’m involved at the moment and have anyone to make me this misreable, but I can definitely relate, in a big way!
So, for your amusement, or possibly education, here goes…
Top 10 Signs It’s Time To Break Up With Your Significant Other -
1. When she makes a minor alteration to her general mode of appearance, you find yourself unable to approve of the change, even though it’s obvious that she is proud of herself and much more satisfied now.
2. Long conversations you once looked forward to are now filled with silences– and I’m not talking about comfortable ones.
3. You start confiding more about problems in the relationship to family and friends than you confide to her about issues in your life.
4. You become resentful of ways in which you have attempted to alter your life/identity in order to be more palatable to her.
5. There is a sudden resurgence of an old flame in your heart.
6. It becomes harder and harder to find ways to spend time together; you wonder how you ever thought you shared common interests with this person.
7. You realize that she will never make good on her promise to experiment more with you in bed, because she’s perfectly comfortable with the way things are.
8. You find yourself wondering about what it’s like to be in another relationship, any relationship.
9. Your face-to-face talk-time seems to have gone from 90% sexual innuendo, 10% amicable bickering, to 10% fond remembrances of sweeping plans for a shared future, 90% destructive criticism and guilt trips.
10. Within a span of 5 minutes, you go from being so happy that you are grinning so hard your face hurts, to being filled with self-loathing and suicidal impulses– and the only thing you did in between was get out of your car, go to her apartment, and step inside.
1. You used to rush for the phone; now you screen all your calls, just in case it’s her.
2. Her voice used to thrill you to the core with its sultriness and sexiness; now I just don’t care.
3. The sight of her naked does absolutely nothing for you except make you wish she’d hurry up and get dressed.
4. When you are having a conversation with a group of friends, you realize how much troubles she really does have following what’s happening “between the lines” – she really just doesn’t get it.
5. She says the exact same kind of things to you that people say in order to impress you with how cool or wild they are, in spite of their age.
6. Rolling your eyes is far more likely to happen than giving her goo-goo eyes.
7. In fact, the look you give her most often is the one your mother used to give you when you were in trouble.
8. Most of her comments and habits no longer seem cute, they just irritate you.
9. When you consider whether to break up with her, you try and figure out just what it is that is keeping you with her, and it seems to be only one thing: sex.
10. When you think about going out and having some real fun, she doesn’t fit in the picture – and she never really did.
1. You don’t like her anymore and yet don’t let her know.
2. You don’t want to be with her anymore and don’t let her know.
3. You don’t care about her and don’t let her know.
4. You don’t think about her and don’t let her know.
5. You don’t find her attractive and don’t let her know.
6. You don’t think she’s good for you and don’t let her know.
7. You don’t let her know.
8. You don’t let her know.
9. You don’t let her know.
10. You don’t let her know.
K, that more then sums it up for me. Been there, done that.
Reminds me of my favorite definition of Insanity- “Repeating the same mistakes and expecting different results”
